Playing with an official Copic sketchpad and aside from some of the blue bleeding through the paper, it’s pretty high up on my list of good sketchbooks. Decided to play with a sword concept for an au and inspired by the knife guy on YouTube ^^;;
While Mikomi has never met Isabel’s biological parents, she has heard the stories about them from the rest of her family. She knows her grandmother’s favorite flowers and the story of how her grandfather gave them to her on their first date.

I didn’t want to waste the beautiful seafoam teal color I mixed for my beach painting, so I did a quick sketch and made this! I used my pens to color the hair and skin afterwards.
I’m going to scan this into the computer so you all can see this beautiful piece properly!
