Made a side roleplay blog

A Meeting From Fear (intro for Soul Eater characters)
Short intro I made for my two Soul Eater characters, my Meister Kayleen and her Weapon Jace. Kayleen is a young girl whose parents were killed by Kishin and she was left alone on the streets. She had witnessed the murder with her own eyes and became scarred and terrified of everything. Jace is a Weapon and student of DWMA who had yet to find a Meister who could use him until he rescues Kayleen by becoming her Weapon.
——————————————————-
It was a terrible incident, one that unfortunately lots of people have
faced in their lives. It was a terrible night that was filled with
bloodshed that sprayed in front of a little girl’s eyes as her mother
and father were killed instantly by a Kishin, shredded like they were
made of paper. Tears welled up in her dark blue eyes. Her body trembled
like an large earthquake and despite the flight mode that was scrambling
her mind, the young girl found herself unable to move. The evil thing
that was once called ‘human’ now gazed in her direction in hunger with a
mouth that smirked in glee. But before it could strike a shadow jumped
above the girl and struck at the creature. A fight broke out and ended
with the mysterious meister winning. “I’m sorry I didn’t get here in
time to save them. But I’ll make sure you-” he had started to say only
to turn around and find that the girl was gone.
She was eight
when this happened and despite the man saving her had run away from home
and started living on the streets. However the people of Death City
were kind and helped her any way they could so she would survive. But
the girl had become quite scarred from the incident, darkness scared
her, Kishin scared her more, fear ran through her veins and became her
soul. She was mentally unstable and despite the kindness of others was
weary of them, like anyone could become evil and try to kill her.
When
she grew up she found herself alone on the streets in the dark but
stayed as close to houses and light as possible for safety. But her
night would be disturbed when she saw two shadows in the distance
hopping across rooftops. Freezing in place under a streetlamp she stared
off in wonder and saw a boy with a jagged blade arm chasing after a
strange looking human. The strange looking human spotted her and the
girl knew just from the crazed look in its eyes that it was a Kishin.
She gave a scream and immediately ran for it but wasn’t fast enough. The
Kishin flew in to attack her and as the girl turned around she saw the
boy with the weaponized arm jump in between them only to have his face
sliced. He fell back and landed on top of her, blood spilling from his
left eye as he fell unconscious in her arms. “N-No..Please..Don’t kill
us..” the girl sobbed and shook in fear as she looked into the face of
the monster that could kill them both. “Someone help us, please save
us!” she thought and closed her eyes, “I don’t want to die..”
Suddenly
the boy glowed and the girl gasped when she saw him disappear and metal
like braces clamped to her thighs and out of them burst out metal poles
with long jagged blades, one on each of the six poles, three on each
leg. It raised up and struck the monster who had just leaped at them for
the final blow and stabbed it straight through its body. The Kishin
disappeared and a glowing gold ball appeared in its place and floated
into the blades causing them to glow for a moment the same color. Breath
rapid the girl fainted from the stress and scare and the strange blades
turned back into the boy. Coughing a bit he turned to the now passed
out girl in shock. Looking around he quickly tore a bit of his shirt and
wrapped it around his head to temporary bandage his eye then looked for
a water source and a bucket. Taking some water he carefully splashed it
on the girls head to wake her up.
Startled she shook and took in
a deep breath and stared at him with wide eyes. Bending down to be face
to face with her he said, “You..You used me in my weapon form.” She
continued to stare in confusion when he suddenly grabbed her hand. “Come
with me!” he said and though she didn’t reply he dragged her away and
ran at amazing speed towards DWMA with the poor girl who was frightened
and very confused. He ran down the hallways and came to a large door and
immediately put in some numbers. A cartoonish grim reaper looking man
appeared saying “Hello hello Jace. And um, who is that with you?”. “Lord
Death, I want this girl to be my meister!” he exclaimed happily,
raising the girls arm and pointing at her like she won a boxing match.
“I uh see… So you two have good soul wavelength?” he asked, looking a
tad confused by this. Jace just nodded as the girl looking from the grim
reaper to him and then back.
“Alright..What is you name miss?”
he asked kindly with a smile. The girl’s arm was let go by Jace and she
answered, “Kayleen, Kayleen Baxter um, sir.” She stated this shyly.
“Well then miss Kayleen, how would you like to be a student here at DWMA
and be Jace’s meister?” Lord Death asked. She looked to Jace as if
seeking an answer and he merely smiled softly back. “I uh.. I guess I
could.” she replied with a smile that she hadn’t worn since before her
parents death. “Alright, then go to the registration office, you’ll see
signs for it. Jace, stay here a moment.” he replied and the girl nodded
and ran off. “Jace, this is great that you have found someone who can be
your meister but beware. That girls soul wavelength is very unsteady. I
can sense it is full of fear. That fear could upset your
synchronization and cause something bad to happen. But I’m sure being
here will help her overcome that.” he explained. Jace nodded in
understanding. “I’ll do my best to keep her safe.” he replied. “Good,
now run along now. You’re new meister will need help on what needs to be
done as a student here.” Lord Death said and disappeared. The boy
grinned and ran off down the hallways, looking forward to getting to
know his new partner.
Random Intro for my Party Ninja characters
Just a fun little story intro for my party ninja characters, Kiyumi, Midori and Naoko. Wrote it for a roleplay I was in. Thought it would be fun to share as I think it describes their personalities well. =D
Hidden behind a curtain on stage where
performers would go to entertain the guests of the casino were three
young girls. One was tall with long icy blue hair tied in pigtails
wearing a dark blue spaghetti strap dress with slits on the sides. She
looked to be the oldest of the other two. The youngest one had purple
hair tied to a ponytail with a large bow and was wearing a festive
outfit that looked to be something from Rio. Her face was deep red as
she pulled on her clothes. “Is..Is this really ok Kiyumi?” she asked
with a sideways glance at her friend. “Sure, manager said we could put
on a show so we’ll put on a show!” she grinned, taking a peak outside
the curtain to look at their audience.
“I think he was being
sarcastic.” said the last girl, one with shorter black hair that draped
over her shoulder with part of her bangs covering one of her eyes. She
was wearing a similar dress to the oldest one but black and short.
“There you are Naoko! Come on, we’re about to go on!” Kiyumi waved at
her to come over. The youngest girl stood frozen in fright until the
oldest one gently shoved her on stage. “Hello everyone! Hope you are
having a good time at the casino. Here to perform a magic show for you
are… The party girls!” she announced. Some of the audience looked
there way confused, others ignored them. Kiyumi cleared her throat. “My
name is Kiyumi Tenshi and here to help me are my lovely assistants
Midori and Naoko!” she announced, pulling out a large box from behind
the curtain, “And for our little show, I’m going to make
Midori…disappear!” Midori, the girl dressed like she belonged in a
Brazilian festival, was staring at the audience and without a word
dragged into the box.
Naoko the other girl covered the box with a
large blanket and spun it around, a blank expression on her face.
“Abraca-” Kiyumi was about to say when an angry man came on stage. “What
are you doing? I thought I said to get out of the casino!” he growled.
“We um..misheard? Naoko quick, escape time!” the blue haired girl
shouted and shadows began to form around Naoko’s feet which grew and
covered the stage like a smoke bomb. “H-hey guys, wait, what’s going
on?” Midori cried out while banging on the box. Quickly in the smoke
Kiyumi opened the door and dragged the younger girl out. The three ran
until they reached the black jack part of the large casino and Kiyumi
pulled the two to a table and busted out laughing. “Oh man that was fun
right guys? Too bad we didn’t actually get to show the trick.” Midori
looked shaking while Naoko sat expressionless. “I thought you got
permission..” Midori mumbled.
Later on in the evening, the three girls sat at a table together. “Can we change clothes now?” asked
Midori whose face was still beet red from being in the rather skimpy
dancer outfit. Kiyumi was playing blackjack and frowned when she went
over 21, Naoko sitting beside her. The girl blinked like she had
forgotten they were even dressed in odd clothes then said, “Oh right. I
think our clothes are in a box behind stage.” The youngest girl looked
worried. “B-But security could still be looking for us.” she stammered.
Kiyumi smiled back. “Relax, we can easily sneak back and quickly grab
them, trust me.” she replied. The three left the table and started
sneaking around the casino, dodging anyone who might be looking for them
(which really was no one since they did obey and at least leave the
stage). Finding a box full of random costumes Kiyumi grinned. “Here it
is, quick put back on your clothes.” she said, throwing the other two
girl’s their outfits which were buried underneath the costumes and
snatched her own clothes. The three changed and now were wearing normal
clothes for a trio of teenage girls.
Midori tugged on her black
stockings and light red skirt after slipping on a yellow long sleeved
button up shirt. Naoko wore a dark purple hoodie and a black skirt with
black stockings. Kiyumi herself tugged on her light blue sweater which
hung off one shoulder and brushed off her navy blue skirt. “There, we’re
good. Let’s get out of here. I kind of want to see the rest of this
area.” she said to the other two who nodded in agreement. However when
they approached the exit they went past a window and peered outside at
the thunderstorm. Kiyumi made a disgusted face as Midori looked
anxiously at the other two. “We..We brought an umbrella right?” she
asked, her head looking back and forth at the other two. The oldest girl
laughed nervously. “Y-yeah I think.. Maybe we misplaced it somewhere..”
she answered, looking grim.
Since it was thunder storming
outside and the manager was leaving them alone, the three teens decided
to hang out at the casino some more. Walking around they spotted a
rather unique part of the casino, a aquatic themed area complete with
bubbles and starfish decorated tables. Midori’s eyes sparkled which made
Kiyumi grin. “We should stay here and play some poker. I think I have a
bit of money to spend.” she suggested and Midori nodded, her hands
clasped together in a fascinated motion. Naoko just followed the two,
looking around with an expressionless face. The three took a seat at a
poker table nearby another table with some drunk man who was hanging off
of one of the waitress’. Taking some cards they decided to play. “What
do you got?” said the host of the table. Kiyumi smiled widely. “I got a
Flush! Beat that!” she sneered. “I only got a two of a kind..” Midori
whimpered. The two looked to Naoko in anticipation. “Royal Flush.” she
said in a monotonous voice. The other two girl’s jaws dropped as Naoko
silently pulled in a bunch of poker chips.
The Azure Signers (Yugioh 5Ds fanfiction)
Chapter 1 of an old Yugioh 5Ds fanfiction that I only wrote the first chapter for and haven’t wrote the rest (even though I have scenes fresh in my mind. >.>). It’s kind of short and I’m thinking of adding on to it. James, Kristen and Aku all belong to me. I should write more of this cause James and Kristen are my oc otp. lol This story is about a second group of Signers that have been chosen by the Azure dragon.
The crowd watched with much anticipation as a large, sky
blue, wheel shaped motorcycle sat at the starting line, a young girl with
blonde hair tied back to a loose braid and hazelnut eyes sitting upon it,
waiting for the green light. “Go!” shouted the announcer as the screened light
flashed green and the motorcycle revved up and took off, the crowd roaring with
excitement. A black, bulky motorcycle streaked green raced beside her, the
rider a boy with black hair with green streaks and bright green eyes, a green
striped scarf blowing in the fast wind as he sped up to keep up with the girl.
The blue motorcycle raced up the sides and quickly spun
around so the girl was facing the black bike. “My move first! I summon Command
Knight in attack mode!” she shouted, her eyes looking out through the tan
goggles that she wore across her face. “I lay a face-down, and end my turn.”
She finished. The boy grinned, his own eyes giving a sparkle underneath the
green visor he wore. “Wonderful start Kristen. I summon Cold Enchanter in
attack mode and attack your Command Knight!” he said, a girl wearing ice blue
attire and carrying an icy staff appearing and attacking the feathered female
warrior.
“Not so fast James, I activate Scrap Iron Scarecrow to
prevent you from attacking my Command Knight and when it is done it goes back
face down.” She said, the trap card appearing then laying itself face down and
disappearing. The fight lasted quite awhile until Kristen held a strong monster
on her side, Freed the matchless general, and it was her turn. “All I need is
one card, and then I’ll prove to him I can do this.” She thought and drew her
next card. It was Tune Warrior, a tuner monster. “Perfect, sorry James this is it. I summon Tune Warrior in attack
mode and tune him to my General. When warriors battle, it is with honor, I
synchro summon Colossal Fighter!” she shouted.
The crowd cheered. “There it is folks, Kristen’s signature
monster!” the announcer shouted as a white light shined above Kristen and a
large light tan built up monster appeared. James stared up at the giant fighter
as it raised its fist and slammed down on James’ monster and caused an X mark
to appear on his bike and immediately stopping it in its tracks. Kristen slowed
down her bike as the crowd applauded and cheered, the two stepping off and
removing their head gear. “And Kristen Till wins the Turbo Duel against James
Laroy, the Cold Striker! The Warrior does it again!” shouted out the announcer
one last time.
James looked to Kristen with a smile. “That was an amazing
duel Kristen.” He said and shook her hand. She returned the smile. “Thanks,
though it was mostly luck.” She replied as the two began to walk out of the
large coliseum with their bikes. Standing outside in the night next to a black
decked with red motorcycle was a boy with dark red spiky hair wearing a red
visor looking up at the playback screen, which showed Kristen pulling off
Colossal Fighter in the duel. He spotted her and James walking together with
their bikes and chatting and ran up to them, dragging his bike along. “Hey,
awesome duel out there, you really know how to ride your D-Wheelers.” He said
to them both, taking off his visor to reveal a pair of dark brown eyes.
A tattoo of a Chinese dragon ran up his right cheek, his
clothes a red t-shirt and dark brown pants and a black collar choker around his
neck. Kristen and James stopped in mid-conversation and looked to him. “Thanks,
I’m Kristen Till, and this is James Laroy. Who might you be? You look like you
do Turbo Duels as well, though I haven’t seen you on the track.” Kristen said
with a grin as she stood with her white fingerless gloved hands on her hips,
her tan goggles strung across her neck.
He grinned brightly at Kristen. “My name is Aku Ryu, I’m a
big fan of yours Kristen, but I have to say I’m an even bigger fan of Jack
Atlas. Someday I’m going to be the best Duelist out there just like him.” He
said, pointing a thumb to himself. James smiled at him, which caused him to
glare back. “You’ll see, I am great at Turbo Duels, I battle with a darkness
deck built to pulverize my opponents.” He said to him with a confident pose. “I
believe you, really.” James responded now smirking.
Aku frowned but then looked back to Kristen with a grin. “I
hope to duel you out there sometime Kristen, then we can see who is better than
one another. You’ll be a worthy opponent too, I know that for a fact.” He said
taking hold of her hands as she looked at him with a confused look. “Hey, don’t
forget I’m a Duelist too, you’ll be seeing me before you see Kristen.” James
remarked, taking Aku’s hands and moving it off of the girl’s. The two seemed to
glare at each other for awhile, a spark shot between their eyes before Kristen
said, “Well it was nice meeting you, but I need to be off, it’s getting a
little late.”
The two stopped and looked at her. “Alright, see you tomorrow
Kristen.” Said James with a wave as she got onto her D-Wheeler and placed her
goggles over her eyes. “It was nice meeting you too. Hey, maybe we can race
tomorrow or something.” said Aku with a grin as she turned on her bike. “Yeah,
maybe we could.” She replied and drove off towards a building in the distance.
“I better get going too.” said James as he too got on his D-Wheeler. Aku stared
at him before glaring again. “What’s the deal man, are you her boyfriend or
something?” he huffed, leaning against his red bike.
James looked up at him, his green visors on. “What- No, no,
we’re just best friends.” He said, turning a bit away to hide the small blush
that rode on his cheeks. No, they were just best friends, and that was the way
it should always be. Aku grinned now. “Good, that means we both have a chance.”
He said and before James could react, hopped on his bike, put on his red visors
and took off. James gawked off after him but shook it away and turned on his
D-Wheeler and sped down the street towards his apartment in the Diamond Area of
Neo Domino City.
shout out to all the folks whose oc’s never get mentioned in ‘oc positivity posts’ or ‘best of fandom’ posts
who never get questions about them from curious anons
who can’t make gifs or edits about them, nor draw or write about them
who don’t have ‘popular’ characters, who never get talked about
you rock and i love you and if you ever feel like no one cares, i do
come talk to me about your pixel people any time okay because you’re all so talented and so creative and fandom is a rough place but you never deserve to feel like your imagination and hard work doesn’t matter
Call this an experiment. Reblog if you have OCs that you adore
Old (I think) drawing I did of my Yugioh OC (also original oc) Cathy. I recently changed her last name to Terrwyn as Tallahasse is the capital of Florida so it’s a tad silly. If you can’t read her speech bubble it says “Tee-hee” with a smiley face which I got the idea from my favorite Hidamari Sketch anime opening Open Canvas. She’s a fun character. =D
On sharing your OCs…
Do it. Just do it.
You aren’t bothering anyone by sharing all the thought and love and work you put into your OC. You aren’t boring them or imposing on them.
What you’re doing is having fun with your space on Tumblr which should be you first priority. You’ve chiseled out a place, built a blog, now use it to host all the creative stuff that you come up with, OCs included.
Never forget that a lot of us in fandom WANT to see your OCs. That’s part of why we’re here and a big piece of what we enjoy about Tumblr. I think most people don’t post nearly enough about their OCs.
So post everything you want to: art, fanfic, screencaps, character outlines, whatever and let the rest of us share what you’ve created.
thejbusition hosts an OC Sharing Day every Wednesday so take full advantage of his generousity and submit some of your stuff to him.
This times 1000. If you’re asking yourself if I ever want to see your OCs, the answer to the question is an undeniable yes. I love meeting new OCs, and I’ve NEVER met one I didn’t like! Every Wednesday is OC Sharing Day, but you can send them to me any day and I’ll get them set up for the following OC Sharing Day! So DO IT! JUST DO IT!
Old drawing of three of my many Yugioh OCs. These three are my main ones though minus Kristen. I wanted to draw them with wings pertaining to their decks, Christina being dragon, Miyuki being angels, and Rin being machines. I really dislike Miyuki’s legs on this one and am thinking of redrawing this someday.
