I know some of my friends who follow me know this story. lol

Anyway, I was playing Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on PSP. If anyone must know that game is originally in Japanese but I managed to find an amazing english translation patch which translated the important stuff. The only thing I didn’t have translated was the quest information but this wasn’t troublesome as I never really paid attention to it and all I needed was the little title saying “Slay this” or “Capture that” as that was translated.

I decided I wanted to try some of the event quests I downloaded, curious to what they were like. I came across a quest that looked like one Crimson Qurupeco. For those who never played Monster Hunter, Crimson Qurupeco looks like this: http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140524131514/monsterhunter/images/c/c0/MHP3-Crimson_Qurupeco_Render_001.png He is like a normal Qurupeco except while normal Qurupecos fight with fire, he fights with electricity. He can also imitate any other monsters sound and call them to come over just like his normal self. 

So I’m thinking “Just a Crimson Qurupeco? Easy.” and go into battle. It’s in the volcano area. I walk around trying to find my opponent when I finally meet him and my eyes shot wide open. It’s a tiny Crimson Qurupeco, normally they were as tall as two full grown men, but this one barely reached my girl hunters knee. A bit amused but also agitated as I main Bow in Monster Hunter and this thing was hard to shoot at, I started my hunt. 

Suddenly the Qurupeco does its monster call and I don’t quite make out what it is calling. Then I hear loud stomps and the ground shakes a little bit. A tad worried I turn around to see what giant monster Qurupeco has called for help. I see a tiny Uragaan (which looks like this: http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100408004118/monsterhunter/images/d/d1/Uragaan.png ) facing me.

Immediately I start laughing, thinking how funny it looks and how funny it was that I heard loud stomps only to see a tiny monster. It wasn’t until it did its roll attack and hit me taking half my hp that I stopped laughing. That hunt was insane and I have no idea if I completed it or not but I will never forget it.
