Ignore the eye (should have erased it before I scanned it but oh well). Quick little chibis of my Gaia Online avatar and my character Kyana. I love how they both turned out but mostly I love how Kyana turned out cause it made me feel happy I could draw cute chibis. ^_^

Made yet another RP blog

This time though it is my character Kyana who isn’t a series based character so she can fit into anything (or at least I’ll try to fit it into whatever. lol) She is a girl born with the power to summon and manipulate flames from her hands who dreams of being a hero to prove she can help people despite her rather destructive powers.

I usually play her in fantasy settings (or even tavern fantasy settings cause for some reason it is fun playing her in those. lol) But she can also be in sci-fi settings or what not I’ll make it work. =D

My OC Kyatana (Kyana) Aeira. Drawn and colored in Photoshop CS6 with my Bamboo Wacom Tablet. I traced over a base by linamomoko from Deviantart for the basic body shape only but the clothes, scarf, hair, and colors is all me. I should mention I’m still a beginner when it comes to drawing and coloring to Photoshop as well as drawing in general. I don’t consider myself to be that great which is why I like using bases to trace over and practice.

The outfit is actually based off an outfit worn by the J-POP band called AKB48. It was worn during a concert when performing the song “Beginner” (I only know this cause I saw it on Youtube. lol) If you knew this without me telling you, I want to high five you but also question you at the same time. lol I chose it cause I’m still struggling with an outfit idea for her, saw that outfit while looking up AKB48 videos, imagined her wearing it, and loved the idea.

The scarf isn’t a part of it though, I created that myself. The pattern idea was actually a friend’s idea. It is supposed to look like fire burning out into ash. Her story is she was born with the ability to summon fire from her hands and manipulate fire as well. Her scarf is actually enchanted to help her control her powers better since at first she couldn’t control them well and set a giant oak tree which was in a school playground on fire. Because fire runs through her body, her hair, skin, clothes, basically anything that touches her is immune to being burned. I decided this because she would somehow have to fireproof all her clothes and shoes to keep them from burning off and that is ridiculous. lol Anyway, enjoy!

Realized she is supposed to be jumping so her clothes should be more floaty. >.< Silly me.
